Obtain
Manufacturer’s Instructions (installation
& servicing) for all your gas appliances. The gas regulations and the
relevant British Standards tend to be general and try to cover most
circumstances and situations. As such they tend to be more onerous than
manufacturer’s instructions, which are very specific.
The important thing to note
is that manufacturer’s instructions can override some regulations,
generally by omitting or reducing some of the requirements which you would
otherwise have to meet. They are also essential for installation, repair,
and service work.

Clean
Cookers and Hobs - especially in rented
property, you would be surprised at the poor condition of cooker and hob
rings through lack of cleaning.
ü
Plan ahead
- try to give us as much notice as
possible, and as much detail as possible. For example, make and models of
appliances.

Let us know
of any faults in advance
- we try to be efficient in arranging and carrying out inspections, this
helps us to keep our prices low. Unfortunately this does not go hand
in hand with “repairing as we go” and as such we do not include time
allowances for possible repairs we cannot foresee. If you have any
problems or faults, let us know when you are booking the inspection, so we
can make allowance – Help us to help you.
If you need more information, or
would like to arrange for any of our services,
please
